Transform Types

This reference summarizes the available transforms in Neurode MIDI. Use it to choose the right tool for your musical goal.

Filtering

Channel Filter: Pass or block specific MIDI channels.
Note Range: Limit notes to a defined range.
CC Filter: Allow only certain controllers.
Velocity Filter: Drop notes outside a velocity window.

Pitch & Harmony

Transpose: Shift notes up or down by semitones.
Scale Quantize: Constrain notes to a scale.
Chord Stack: Add intervals to create chords.

Dynamics

Velocity Scale: Multiply velocities for softer or louder touch.
Velocity Curve: Shape dynamics with a curve.

Timing

Delay: Offset events by a fixed amount.
Swing: Push/pull timing for groove.
Quantize: Snap notes to a grid.

Generative

Arpeggiator: Turn chords into rhythmic patterns.
Step Sequencer: Generate repeating motifs.

Scripting

Script Engine: Custom transforms using Neuroscript or Lua.
